Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration or an explanation has been provided in comments to the editor.
  • The text is 1,15 line-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • Where available, URL's (DOI, Website...) for the references have been provided.
  • A cover letter of intent has been prepared to state the content of your research.
  • Article similarity report was obtained using Turnitin/iThenticate. If you cannot provide this service, the journal management will carry out the necessary checks on your behalf during the initial review phase.
  • The title page containing the author information has been uploaded as a separate file due to blind refereeing and blind authorship.
  • The EJCSRTS copyright transfer agreement has been filled.
  • Two referee suggestions were made regarding your field of study.
  • If any, the ethics committee document, and necessary permissions, have been uploaded to the system.

Author Guidelines

Authors submitting their work to EJCSRTS are obliged to meet the ethical principles stated below:

  • Author(s) must submit original studies to the journal. If they utilize or use other studies, they must make the in-text and end-text references accurately and completely.
  • Individuals who have not contributed to the study at any intellectual/academic level should not be indicated as an author.
  • If the manuscripts submitted to be published are subject of conflicting interests or relations, these must be explained thoroughly.
  • During the review process of their manuscripts, author(s) may be asked to supply raw data. In such a case, author(s) should be ready to submit such data and information to the editorial and scientific boards.
  • Author(s) should document that they have the participants' consent and the necessary permissions related with the sharing and research/analysis of the data that are used.
  • Author(s) bears the responsibility to inform the editor of the journal or publisher if they happen to notice a mistake in their study which is in early release or publication process and to cooperate with the editors during the correction or withdrawal process.
  • Authors cannot submit their studies to multiple journals simultaneously. Each submission can be made only after the previous one is completed. A study published in another journal cannot be submitted to EJCSRTS.
  • Author responsibilities in a study, (e.g., adding an author, reordering of author names and alike) whose review process has begun cannot be changed.
  • The authors are personally responsible for all errors and plagiarism problems that occur in a published article. EJCSRTS has no responsibility in these matters.
